Decision! C: by Neotheta
So I've come to a decision that I'll only post the proper pieces to this gallery (and perhaps some few very well turned out sketches), so if you wanna see sketches and silly things, you may want to follow me on FurAffinity instead (I was gonna make a tumblr for sketchy stuff but someone took my name there and posts gayporn under it so I don't want to be involved with that site at all then.... sorry)
But yes, my plan is to try and post 2 pieces a day until I catch up with stuff. The reason I'm refraining from posting small things is cause I reaaaally don't want to flood my front page with sketches, I want people to see the proper things when they first see my stuff ^^;

I'm glad to see you won't be forgoing the site completely. I do disagree and think people would find your sketches nice (and it'd increase your exposure if you spaced uploading them out) but that is your decision.

I'm still hoping weasyl will create more possibilities to use the folders for than just being 'well we have folders' - when they make it possible to hide content in folders showing on front page I'll get uploading more sketches, there's a lot of them and I rather post them all or none.

You might consider going and making a suggestion on the forums then! Unlike FA, the developers here actually do stuff!

Oh I didn't see the reply down there, looks like they might have already added it. See? I told you the developers here actually do stuff. So active, they even add features before you ask for them!

And apparently... if only the site worked for me and displayed all these features there seem to be xD
Tho that would explain why the layout looks very floaty and awful, perhaps this page didn't stop being broken for me afterall eventhough I could now log in atleast.

It would certainly be nice if Weasyl had a "scraps" section like FA and DA. That way you could still upload sketches, but they would only show up to followers and people who purposely click on the scraps folder. Unless there is something like that here and I just haven't figured it out yet...

It's a bit tucked away, but you can set options on folders and subfolders to control whether the contents appear on the front page, on your profile, or in your followers' submission feeds, so you can set up a scraps folder for yourself if you like. It's in the settings page under Preferences > Submission Folders.

Hmm, now that I found what you were talking about, the option doesn't seem to exsist, atleast not for me. The page only displays folder creating, moving and deleting to me, and nothing else. Is there supposed to be more things? I know the site doesn't fully work on me but entire parts missing is new, normally I just get errors and/or buttons don't work.

Oops! Sorry; I've been out a couple days.
At the bottom under the "Remove Folder" drop down menu, there should be an "Edit Folder Options" header with links underneath that will take you to the options page for each individual folder. Yeah, it's kinda clunky.

I figured ;_; and it didn't work for me baw, but my friend logged to my account and changed the settings! Now how to hide the whole folder bit from my front page cause it looks even more stupid with just the folder 'main gallery' displaying X'D

Oops nevermind, it didn't work, it just hides the folders from the folder bit on the front page but not from the gallery like I wanted... unless that bit is broken to me aswell idk anymore
