hey cool, weasyl craps out on large uploads because i am on dialup and it doesnt know how to deal with slow uploads - weasyl you are seriously trying my patience
this is why i put off uploading my work because i knew it would turn into a big hassle like it always does
[update: sometimes the upload fails - sometimes it succeeds but leaves me sitting there wondering - so]

Sadly, from going around online everywhere nowdays, I would be tempted it's everything online nowdays that can have a tendency to hate on dial-up.
I haven't used a dial-up modem in ages but I remember what it was like in the days. But then I'm lucky to have the funds for the connection I'm using, and to be able to share the costs with two roomates. I'm sorry to hear you're stuck with that kind of connection :(

Reminds me of how hotmail sometimes "worked" when I was accessing it from a library computer years ago.
