Get to know me meme. by Thaily

What's your real name?
Thaily is as real as it gets bby!

How tall are you?
Around 1.70

What's your natural hair color?
Weird, kind of a salt&pepper, ash blond.

What's your eye color?
Brown, huehue..

What's your orientation?
South-East

Are you single, taken or undecided?
Taken.

What do you do in your spare time?
Uh.. Draw.. I draw for customers, I draw for my fine art projects, then when I'm done I take a break and draw some more.

What's your job or occupation?
Artist.

What do you like about yourself?
Huh, good question.. I like that I've finally come to terms with doing art professionally. I like that I can be happy with small things, like new nib pens or a decent sketch. I like that I'm good with animals and that they often respond well to me. I like that I try to associate with good and inspiring people and avoid toxic relationships.

What do you dislike about yourself?
I don't like that I sometimes tend to dwell or linger on people or things that are bad for me. I don't like that I often judge myself harshly and make myself miserable, and that sometimes my loved ones suffer for it. I don't like that I have a tendency to procrastinate and be disorganized.

What did your friends notice about you when they first met you?
I asked around and got the following answers: My smile (aaw), my confidence (heh), the fact I'm very straight forward and don't suffer fools lightly and my tits (hah!).

What is your belief/religion if you believe in anything at all?
I believe that all living things have a soul.

Do you drink?
Daily.
Oh you mean booze?
Daily.
Nah I'm kidding, maybe once every few months. I'll take my gin neat, but I also like a Bloody Mary.

Do you smoke?
Nope. Hate it.

What are your major fears?
Being stuck in the same place for the rest of my life.

Do you have any dreams or goals?
Nothing but. I'd like to be able to make a comfortable living off my personal art and be able to buy a place with some land, have a couple of dogs, couple of draft horses, flock of budgies and oodles of bunnies.

Have you ever had a crush or an ex?
Does an "internet boyfriend" count as an ex? I was young and he was a creeper and a nutcase, haha! When I broke up with him he embellished the break-up story and used it to get digital pity sex, how sad is that? He also pretended to be me to get e-laid, even though I was a minor. See what I mean about creepy?
As for crushes? Yes, often.

Who's your best buddy?
Good question, I have a bunch of really good friends I have known for over a decade.
I honestly wouldn't know who to pick. Yeah I know, it's a cop out, sorry.

What's your favorite dish?
Everyone's gonna expect me to say sushi, and it's definitely in the top 3.
I also really like gnocchi. Oh and steaks, as bloody as possible.

What's your favorite drink?
I drink a lot of Coke Zero, but I also really like goat's milk.
I am the only person I know who likes goat's milk as much as I do.

What's your favorite color?
I'm glad people don't ask me this very often, because sometimes they'll argue with me on the fact I don't have a favorite colour. No one colour makes my heart race, only colour schemes.

If you had a super power, what would it be?
Shapeshifting, you could be whatever you want and it would also effectively include the abilities to fly and be invisible; how many people notice a pigeon on the sill or a spider in the corner of the room?

What's your favorite movie?
Watership Down.

What's your least favorite food?
Really spicy food. People say you just have to build up a tolerance, but why bother to make that much of an effort for something you don't care for? I like wasabi because it's a quick, sharp burn. But other spicy stuff tends to make stuff taste bitter for me, ew. Then there's the people who'll taunt you for not wanting spicy food, what the hell is up with that?! Why are they so invested with what I put in my face? Get a hobby!

What's the last meal you want before you die?
My would-be executioner's throat.

What do you drive and what would you really like to drive?
A bicycle, and a newer, slightly fancier bicycle.
Once I get my driver's license, probably a van to transport my work.

What is your most disliked bug?
Mosquito, or any parasite really. Oh and silverfish, they can go eat a dick too.
I love all other bugs, spiders are awesome.

What pet peeves do you dislike the most?
What pet peeves do I dislike? In others?
I dislike when other people's pet peeve is the childfree, like "Why is not liking/wanting kids a thing they put time into?!"
Because it's something that affects us, sometimes daily; from family and friends who get upset that you won't babysit for them to complete strangers who think it's acceptable to question you on such a personal matter. Like, you're talking to a loved one while walking down the street and a stranger passing by will tell you you're going to change your mind, WTF?
If people are confident about their own decisions they don't need to bug the childfree about not wanting kids.

What do you dislike in life?
Many things, and it drives me mad. If I had to pick one? People who say "Life's not fair." and use it to excuse their apathy. People who think being neutral when people are suffering is some kind of moral high ground. Fuck you.

What do you like in life?
I'm adding this extra question because I wanna end things on a positive note. I like that there's so much stuff to look at and feel inspired by. It's hard for me to walk by a bush full of spiders in fall and not take time to look at them closely. I like that I have a number of really good friends I can count on for anything. I love going to the thrift shop and buying weird shit for 50 cents. I like rescuing animals and discovering what wonderful personalities they have despite the fact they were often mistreated or neglected. I like it when people who don't pick up after their dogs, step in a dog turd.

Oh I so understand the sort of bias folks have against childfreedom!

Haha, you too? I think women get it worse than men though, I've had complete strangers abandon their kids with me so they could run into a store because they think any woman will look after their kid.

Yeah depending on where you are it's kinda "shameful" to not have kids. A couple of my friends actually get nagged by their parents since they're in their 40s and have not had kids.

Because the world isn't overcrowded as is, make more babies!
