Heya, just popped on here and am poking around. My primary concern is what to do with all the Stuff back on FA. From what I understand I can just go ahead and upload it alllllll here and Weasyl will only show the most recent three images of any mass upload? Is that right? I want to make sure before I basically spam old stuff.
When I got on FA, I uploaded older things in bits and pieces over many years. That seems daunting to do again, particularly in front of the same set of eyeballs. I like the idea of having stuff In One Place, though. Hmm.
Those of you who have migrated, how have you managed your older content? Just start new, keep going, and trust the old stuff to reside on FA?

I don't have plans to leave FA, but I set up a cutoff point of stuff that's being uploaded here given the quality. There's still stuff from the time I didn't know how to work layers or had cruddy line work. But yeah given Waxpost, making considerable crossposts are quite a snap.

Since I don't plan to leave FA right away I'm only uploading the prettiest here, and will eventually and slowly upload the older stuff, much like you did in FA. The mass uploading tool, though, is pretty convenient, and it won't over spam the front page

I picked the oldest image I still liked and uploaded everything after that point, personally, leaving everything else on other sites. I dunno about mass uploading, I posted while no one was watching me yet, so I have no idea.

Thanks! I found something but it was too complicated for me :S right now I'm using the autotransfer script thing and can do it an image at a time.

Sorry for poking the old journal: I just... emptied my gallery. Kinda silly because after emptying all the work I found I DID not have them saved anywhere. Woops. But! At least I have a clean desk now! Eh he..

I'm picking through older stuff and just uploading as I go. I hear there's a way of making a folder here, setting it so it won't show up in watch feeds, then using that mass-mover thingy and dropping it all into that folder. But I haven't done it myself. I'm sure someone will come along and explain it! :)
