I am on the Wessl. I do not understand all the things. What does it mean to be given 'friend' status? How do folders? Where goes banner?

Yay! It takes a bit of getting used too, but I like the new system. The folders are nice since they still display everything in your gallery, but you can look at one specifically.

Friends is literally for friends - people who you want to proclaim you are friends with and give special access/status to. You can share certain journals and submissions only with your friends list, for example, as opposed to all your followers and the general populace of the site. Folders are a little bit wonky to use right now, I hear they are working on making that simpler. This site is still technically Beta, so some things will change (and a lot of things already have!)

Banners go in setting -> Banner Image.

You can limit who can see certain pieces by making them friends only, and then only those people with confirmed friendship links can see them. You can upload a banner under settings. With "Banner Image". :P
