Commissions, FA, Weasyl and me by Shibara
I want to leave FA because what I have read has turned my stomach. I care about these things. I care about rape, and I care about abuse even when it's not textbook rape, for those that need justifications like that.
Abuse is abuse.
Even if none of that has paper proof (which means exactly nothing to me, because how may rapes go unreported every day anyways), deleting journals and comments, banning users who speak up... that is also abuse of power, and there's enough proof of those actions.
That being said, I can't leave right now. Most of my clients are here, and most of my income comes from them.
So I won't be closing shop here, because that's not actually an option for me yet, at least until there's a larger population in Weasyl.
That site will be my main account fro now on, though.
I will upload images less often here, and all my sketches, personal art, WIPs, non furry art, etc will go there. Commissioner images will be posted in this gallery too for those who buy them through FA.
BUT
When I open for commission slots, Weasyl users will get priority. Once no more Weasyl users apply for slots, and if any are still not taken, I will open them in FA.
It's not huge, but it is the way in which I choose to support Weasyl, in the hopes it will thrive, and I can eventually move there.
If I can't, I will stay here in furaffinity indefinitely, but not for lack of wanting to leave.

I can't really help out financially right now so this was the other option I felt I had (plus, it's a lot easier to use/browse than just making a feature journal- and with the way tumblr is set up, exposure is a lot quicker/easier as opposed to standard sites)
It's already become something really dear to me, so I'm gonna be doing my best to keep it going as long as it's needed haha

Giving Weasyl users priority in commissions is an awesome way to support weasyl! So many people are stuck with FA because of commissions and it makes me sad, especially because they want to leave. Hoping Weasyl can get enough traffic to support everyone who needs it! ;u;
