I have generally been enjoying using this site, I have some criticisms about the clunky interface but at least it seems to be available for the most part unlike furaffinity. If this site is to be successful though, people have to continue to use and support it and not just use it as a stop gap for when fa goes down.
But just because fa is back up doesnt mean you should stop using this place. Over the last week I have seen the userbase begin to flourish and seen some people who watch me on fa rewatch me on here too. I am not hurrying back to check my submissions on fa because I know all too well that all I'm going to be greeted with is a ton of whiney journals about fa being down for the last week.
If you are rely are /that/ fed up with fa... vote with your feet.

Free or not...people can complain. Just because a website is free doesn't mean it gets an exempt from complaints. Or expectations that "the largest furry onsite community website" should be run competently ;)

No reason not to use both, and cross post to both. FA has long term issues that need fixing, and Weasyl will likely have issues when they gain users and their databases become huge and their hard drives fill up.

I'm making Weasyl the primary site for my uploads :). Weasyl may be clunky at times but the overall site is far more advanced then FA and it even resizes properly on mobile devices. FA has a lot of issues it has to address before it could ever be considered stable website.... Until then, I think I'll be happy here :).

I laugh at all those journals people honestly need to get a life I use this site and so furry but FA is still my main

I think I'm gradually getting used to it - only really annoying thing so far is clicking once on something makes a change like unfriending someone - then you have to get on your knees and scream "TAKE ME BAAAAAACK!!!!!" :P
Other than that the only thing holding me to FA at the moment is the people I've comissioned.
