Dream: Stargate SG-1 by Runewuff

I dreamed I was inside two episodes of SG-1 that never happened. I was part of SG-1, working with Jack O'Neil, Major Carter and Daniel Jackson.

In Episode 1 there was a new Russian President who was mobilizing troops and were were sent as "ambassadors" to find out what he was up to, since he was holding international agreement over the Stargate Program hostage. That wasn't he only thing he was holding hostage. He was very abusive of clergy, having one popular Bishop or Priest abducted, made a show of, and killed, after another. Great cathedrals were left empty. In one scene, we were sort of verbally fencing with him at a state dinner, and I remember being up close and personal to the faces of the SG-1 cast vividly.

I began to wonder "why send SG-1 on a mission like this? Let some diplomat handle it while we go off and do what we're best at."

In response, a new story was created.

Episode 2 some Goa'uld infiltrators had set up a secret base with its own Stargate. To disguise the vast operation, a fake subdivision was created. To make matters worse, there was sabotage at Cheyenne Mountain early in the episode and me and Major Carter figured out it had to be an inside job. Someone had been abducted and replaced by an imposter, but we weren't sure who. Still we continued investigating the suburb, watching everyone on the team we thought we knew for any odd behavior.

We drove around in a nondescript car, seemingly normal from the outside but full of computers and detectors on the inside. The houses were empty shells with no furnature, and we were using a special hand scanner to detect which basement led to the underground base. As night began to approach, and we knew there'd be activity and guards that would spot us then, the eerily empty houses and streets made me feel more and more uneasy. O'Neil accidentally left the scanner in one house, and Carter pointed out that if the Goa'uld found it they would know how we were looking for them and could shield the base from our scans and we'd never find it before the invasion through their secret Stargate. There was a lot of tension as we found it again - was he the imposter? Had he left it there on purpose?

The dream ended before the episode was over.

Thinking back, I had been looking at O'Neil, Carter, and Jackson. I had spent most of the time observing carefully and only speaking my mind when I was sure I knew what was going on, and had something to contribute to the discussion. I was tall and found the car small and kept nearly bumping my head in it.

I was Teal'c.

Awesome. ^_^

whoa, I wonder how some people can remember so many details about their dreams. I'm usually too tired during sleep to pay much attention to what's going on. With an exception: nightmares.

It depends. If the brain doesn't tag the information for storage, it doesn't become memories. I had a dream yesterday that faded when i woke up.

Well, the point is I can't really remember if I dreamed something or not, so....

But on a few occasions I have experienced this dream fading thing as well, usually to very frustrating results. I wake up thinking what a wonderful dream I just had and that I should turn it into a story or something, and then, *puff*, I can't remember what it was.

    Indeed.
