Why I Like Inflatables! (COMPLETELY SFW) by AoiTheDragon
Hey, everyone! A lot of my upcoming ScotiaCon 2024 media features inflatables! There was an event called Airheads and it's an event for everyone who likes inflatables! Before I share this media, I'm going to explain why I personally like inflatables and how my interest in them is completely SFW! I wanted to share this as well because I'm pretty sure some may enjoy inflatables in a different kind of way sometimes too and that's perfectly okay! However, as a family friendly furry myself, I wanted to make my own personal context known regarding this subject and how my personal interest in them is completely SFW! I think context is extremely important so I just wanted to give everyone a quick explanation about how I view inflatables, especially with my family friendly reputation! ^w^
Decades ago when I was still a kid, we used to have these electronic critters at a supermarket in another country and you could insert a coin in one as you hopped onto its back and used a steering wheel to control where you were going! It even played music when it was activated, if remember correctly! Then after a minute or two, it would stop working and you could pop in another coin if you wanted to continue riding on one! Kinda like an arcade machine! Inflatables really remind me of those critters at that supermarket and whenever I see one, it just brings nostalgic memories right back from that supermarket! As soon as I entered the Airheads event and saw all those inflatables, I really felt like I was a little kid again and when I hopped on to one, it was like I was back at that supermarket all over again! It felt so nice being able to forget about adulthood for a bit and just feel little again. And that's the simple reason as to why I like inflatables! Because they bring back memories and make me feel like a kid again! So now that you know why I like inflatables, I hope you continue looking forward to my future ScotiaCon 2024 media! <3

That sounds super fun and amazing!! I'm happy to hear that for you! Funfairs sound like they're really a place where you can be yourself, relax and just get rid of all the negative thoughts and feelings! I'm not an age regressor myself, but I totally understand you and where you're coming from! In my case, I don't think I regress but I get really emotional every time I see or experience something that reminds me of my childhood or just gives me big nostalgic vibes, I get super emotional and it feels like I am right back to being a kid and experiencing certain things alllll over again because honestly, I never really got to be much of a kid when I was still really young because there was always something going on in da family, and we were away from home a lot and it felt like I was forced to grow up fast and act mature, if you know what I mean and to keep it short. So being able to experience things like the inflatables or something else that brings me back to childhood is such a unique and emotional feeling that may be a bit hard to describe for me since feelings aren't always easy to describe, heh heh! But yeah, it really nearly brings tears every time to my eyes in a good way when I get emotional when something reminds me of pure nostalgia or childhood!! x3

I'm sorry to hear about the fact you were lacking a childhood :< I lacked one too but in a different way, I was bullied, abused, neglected, and I was never once treated like family at all :< that's why I'm looking for a new littlespace family, one that would treat me like a real one would.. Ú.Ù I really like the ugly duckling, because I find him way too relatable. not because I'm ugly (I'm actually super pretty to the point I don't need makeup) but because I'm always the odd one out, I'm aallways the black sheep, the scapegoat, the ugly duckling. I'm the different one, that one weird kid that every bully picks on just for being different. and if I dare try to protect and defend myself I will be abused for it. I find the ugly duckling relatable because just like him, he gets bullied for being different, his family doesn't love him, and neither does the rest of the birds, because they always pick on him and just like the ugly duckling, I just want to find a place where I can actually belong, be loved, cared for, and accepted, and not have to be bullied for who I am. I just want to find my flock of swans just like the ugly duckling did <:3 I hear the character Stitch can relate to the ugly duckling, I wonder if Stitch can be relatable too :o well I guess we do have a few things in common, like we're weird/different (and that's good!), we relate to the ugly duckling, and we be finding a family :3
there are many littles/age regressors in the littlespace community that haven't had much of a childhood, alot of us were abused (like me), neglected and didn't get the care they needed (like me aswell), and even some of them as kids couldn't wait to grow up or were told to behave more maturer than their physical age and these kinds focused so much of trying to be an adult when they forget about being a kid, that when they become an adult they regret it because they never got to be a kid so littlespace in adulthood is their only chance on being a kid now. as for the abused and neglected, littlespace gives us a second chance to relive our childhoods so we can start a whole new childhood and make it a better one <:3 we may not be physically children anymore, but we will forever be children at heart, and that's perfectly valid.. ÚwÙ don't worry tho, I'm not saying you're little or anything, I'm just saying you'll commonly find alot of littles who experienced similar things to us in their past aswell, cos even the most happy, wholesome, innocent little like me knows that life isn't all cupcakes and rainbows, it's a cruel, nasty world out there. life is tough, but so are we! so we keep moving forward because despite all we've been through, we're still here and we're still standing, and that's something to be proud about <:3
on birthdays, I think it's especially good to celebrate that you've made it far in this world and you're still surviving, because that's something to really be proud of, especially if you're elderly, I think elderly people should start thinking of birthdays that way :3 when I become old and grey, I know I want to see birthdays that way too because birthdays are suppose to be a positive and special day <:3 we should be happy on our birthdays and we should always make them special <=) sorry for going a wee bit offtopic but still, I wouldn't mind celebrating like I was 5 years old and treat myself to a happymeal and funfair and go to other fun places X3

That sounds really awful but hey, you're super strong and it definitely proves that's the case because here you are now, STILL STANDING and vibing! :DDDD And I hope one day you truly find your littlespace family who will always cherish you for who you are and love you no matter what! ^w^ hugs
Thank you very much for sharing about the littlespace community! This is some really nice and wholesome info but also a hard reality. I wish people, especially the strict adults, would just realize that adulting may not be for everyone right of the bat and so what if they prefer to be more childlike, etc.? Like who seriously cares. Apparently, only the stupid bullies and strict adults, if you know what I mean! And you're right, being a child at heart is absolutely valid hands down and no one can say otherwise! UwU

I'm actually really looking forward to finding some caregivers and siblings, I actually wonder if I'll be the youngest, oldest, or middle child in my new family :o it's fascinating really :3 I have many friends, but not enough cgl friends :< but maybe if I be friends with a fellow little, I wonder if we'll be close enough to be siblings ^-^ and maybe we could all find a caregiver or few ^w^ I might be a bit weird XD I might have lots of caregivers aswell as siblings lol, but hey the more the merrier! =D I'm actually looking forward to quality time and receiving the care I never even got as a child so I hope I manage to find a family soon <:3yeah adulting sucks, nobody should be required to be a boring grownup when we could be having fun being a child. I wish having to do boring old adult stuff wasn't such a requirement and that we could just escape from the adult world, hide from our responsibilities, and just enjoy being a kid <:3 then again I guess that's why we littles go into littlespace, so we don't have to worry about being a grownup anymore and just enjoy reliving our childhoods ÚwÙ though hearing that spring is near and the days are getting warmer and brighter, it's making me feel alot happier and I kinda wanna play pretend more now that the weather's improving :3 I'm so looking forward for spring cos I'm sick and tired of winter XwX

Yeah I agree! It's been absolutely freezing this winter! It would be nice to have more warm days for sure! :D

spring and summer is great ^w^ I'm really looking forward to it all! we're almost there, we can do it! >:3 plus I hear spring is gonna come early this year woohoo! good riddance winter! X3
ahh it's okay.. :< I was hoping we could all enjoy hanging out but at least I wasn't alone on valentines in the end... <:3 at least my close pal Wolfypoof is always happy to join events like these.... ÚwÙ

Long time no talk :o I think inflatables are awesome too! in the swimming pool I always loved playing with things like floats, my favourite thing to do with them is that I always flop on like a penguin landing on an iceberg and my friends and I always liked sitting on top of them and trying to see if we can control the direction the float will take us :D I too like them for only sfw reasons too, I like cute fluffy paws for only sfw reasons too :3 I don't like human(like) feet tho, blegh! oh and hearing that you get cute furry inflatables in conventions also made me excited to try out conventions someday because even if they're not on water, they still sound like alot of fun to ride on X3
Also these machines you were talking about, they remind me of those vehicle themed rides I went on at the funfair! ^-^ I went on one a few years ago, maybe last year, and it works the same way where you gotta pay if you want to "drive" it. I went on one that had my favourite colour yellow :D I got to use the wheel to choose which direction I wanted to go and it made vroom vroom noises as I was riding on it X3
Funfairs also make me feel young again and make me feel like a kid again :D I always get excited and feel like a child when I go to see the fireworks locally or go to the funfair ^w^ I think I might of letted myself age regress since age regression is something that happens naturally and doesn't often happen on command unless you get the right things to help you regress into a child, like childhood shows, balloons and bubbles and toys that you still enjoy playing with, fun childlike outings like funfairs and theme parks, visiting toy shops, zoos and wildlife parks, etc. speaking of theme parks, I've always wanted to go to one! I've always wanted to travel the world and meet all my pals in furry conventions, exploring the world has been my dream for as long as I remember because I really really enjoy outings and travel, they really do bring me alot of happiness and joy, and I really wish I could go out there more and get outta town more. I'm literally the polar opposite of a homebody, I get bored of home and get bored of staying in my hometown all the time, I wanna go out there more! and maybe if I get to travel more I could appreciate home more when I return ^-^
