Hey all!

I didn't get any art done in January like I had hoped, and I have a really good reason for it!

I've had really bad chronic insomnia for decades, and it's gotten really bad starting in December. It was to the point where I could only sleep when I was absolutely exhausted because I'd just pass out. Work and my personal life really suffered.

Turns out it was due to our 30-year-old mattress! My sleep had gradually been getting worse and worse and I didn't notice. I think it started to dawn on me when I stopped feeling comfortable in bed. Like, parts of my body hurt more when I was lying down!

We just got a mattress earlier this week and it's been LIFE-CHANGING! Way better sleep! When I'm awake, I feel like I have energy during the day! It's amazing! 

So, the good news is that I'll be working on updating my model sheets in February like I had wanted in December and January! Now that I'm well-rested and have more energy, I want to see how much progress I can make!
