Man, writing big, fancy fight scenes can be a lot trickier than you might think. 

Sorry about the delays. I had intended to get a lot more done over the past week, but various things kept getting in the way. Holiday chaos, mental and physical health issues, various life frustrations, a bit of writer's block... yeah, unfortunately I didn't quite finish the episode up like I'd hoped. But at least now I'm closer to it! I'm going to try and wrap the episode up in the next one, even if it goes a little long. (Hehe, 13th chapter... seems kind of... fitting for the spooky episode, yeah?) It's a good thing I don't have any more epic showdown-type combat scenes planned for a little while after this episode. I'm looking forward to getting into more low-level hijinks and character moments for a little bit. 

But yeah, like I said, been dealing with various issues this past week. In addition to typical holiday madness, I also felt a bit under the weather twice since the last update. I don't know if I was actually sick or just had really bad allergy issues, but it left me totally drained, especially this latest one over the weekend. Still feeling the lingering effects now, which leads me to believe that at least the second time was me trying to come down with something. That, combined with lack of sleep, has left me feeling pretty wiped out and foggy-headed. At least today's a lot better than yesterday, though. 

Once I'm done with the Kryckwood arc, but before I start the next one (need to think up a name, argh!) I'll be doing another little aside with Naira. I really need to finish that maybe, maybe-not cannon extended beach scene from the previous episode with Kuna and Hoku. I also need to do some more drawing, dagnabbit! Been over a week since I started my new refsheet for my fursona, and I haven't touched my tablet since. Need to rectify that. 

On another subject, I'm still looking to branch out more in terms of places I'm active. A lot of the ones I've joined seem pretty quiet, most of the time, although I have gotten a little interaction on Side7. As iffy as I am about Telegram so far, I've considered finding more channels/groups to check out there. (And as a reminder, I do have my own channel there if you want a convenient place to keep up with Lloxie news!) I recently started watching some more VRChat vids on Youtube, and they really make it look like a lot of fun. Shame I don't have fancy VR equipment or I'd give it a try sometime. I'd save up for it, but I don't even have a decent open space to use the good ones right now. Ah well.... someday, maybe. I'm self-conscious about my voice and prefer communicating via text anyway.
