Sorry the update's so late today. Past week has been... ehhhhh not great. Still struggling to adapt to the new meds, PLUS my mental health is still giving me issues. The meds are at least mostly helping with those afternoon anxiety spikes... generally, anyway. It doesn't help that I have this bad habit of inflicting more suffering on myself through my inability to stop obsessing over things that have greatly upset me. Pair that with just being a very sensitive fox to begin with and.... yeahhhh. >.< 

On a lighter note, I had my first real high yesterday. Some of you may know I've been sporadically taking low doses of delta-8 THC in gummy form since I first tried it back in late October. And when I say sporadically I mean like maybe once a week or so at most, heh. But this last one must've been extra concentrated because when it finally hit... wheeeee, I finally knew the meaning of "high as a kite". @.@;; Eeeeverything became hilarious at one point, hehe. Was fun and I was a very silly fox. xD

As far as writing and art goes... I can't apologize enough for the massive slowdown. My head has just NOT been with it lately. The new meds have me spacey more often than not, and it's just so hard to cocnentrate on anything. I HAVE almost finished the next MHO chapter though. Hoping to put the finishing touches on it tonight, though I'll still need to proofread it. Hopefully the interesting magical shenanigans that are cropping up will help make up for the long wait a lil bit, hehe. 

Quick confession time- there's one other thing I've been writing sporadically. A while back I mentioned a vent story I came up with in response to a piece of media that's been really fucking with me these last few months. Yeah, I finally started writing it, albeit somewhat disjointed and out of order. Mainly because I know the first two chapters will necessarily be dark and fucked up, and I just can't bring myself to write it just yet, even if I seriously want to see a certain character (that's a stand-in for one in the media that... "inspired" the story) brutally, and I mean brutally destroyed for being such a sadistic, evil piece of shit. Again though, whenever it's finished, I'll be uploading it under a different name elsewhere. I don't want it connected with me. Especially given how much I normally hate these kinds of things myself. But writing it's at least a bit therapeutic for me. And surprisingly it's sort of evolving into something a bit more than I initially planned. The latter parts gradually get more hopeful and wholesome as characters heal, and there's even a redemption arc, because even with vent stories I guess I just can't help myself. 

Anyway, sorry for a late and somewhat venty update. Hopefully should have that next MHO chapter up sometime tomorrow evening at the latest.
