Title. Just remembered this site still exists and honestly, with people looking for alternatives to Deviantart and Furaffinity, I'm up to try and be active here again. How is it here? Dead?

yeah same here, even if the site is small, I still see alot of activity going here :3 I'd say it's pretty active UwU

From my experience, which is just mine and I cannot say for others, it is TECHNICALLY active. But it is a smaller community and depending on who you are either you do get a decent amount of engagement or you barely get anything. For me I barely get any engagement at all. Again, this is all dependent on the person because I have seen some say this isn't a ghost town/dead because they personally have gotten interactions on here while others have been discouraged by the sites lack of engagement where they just give up and go completely back to places like FA, DA, tumblr, twitter, etc.
