Honestly it feels so much more lively than Furaffinity and other sites. Nowhere else do I get comments and favourites on my stuff from folks who don't even follow me, its genuinely refreshing!

    I've heard so many complain about the low traffic, but honestly if that's the price of a calm community of artists I think I will be okay with it.

    Been here actively for years and I don't yet see any reason to pack up.

      I'm glad I never officially packed up myself. It just feels nicer and friendlier than other places I'm on currently.
      Yeah I have noticed that traffic is low, but I'm on InkBlot. I think traffic is way lower there than it is here x3c

      I mean... It certainly isn't the most active, can't argue with that, but it feels really nice otherwise.

        I can certainly say it helps with the social side of things; I've always liked the low traffic here to be honest. Feels like that moment where folks start to swarm an ignored area (like Alaska) but then suddenly the locals notice a sudden swarm of people coming in out of the blue. It raises both admiration and concern.

    I totally agree with you here! :D I migrated as a refugee from devianart almost 5 years ago and unlike deviantart, weasyl has a nice warm welcoming community ^w^ I moved here to escape from the bullies and their dramas, and honestly migrating here was just the best choice I ever made ^-^ people here are so nice unlike da and I've made alotta friends + a few fans here, I'm just so glad to be here instead ^w^
