Paypal is releasing an update soon in September in which they're going to track places where your paypal is linked. Besides the fact that this is just a scummy idea anyways, this is also going to drastically impact kink or nsfw artists, as paypal has a history of banning people with those types of accounts. Even if you don't use the service for that type of content, it could still potentially pose a threat if they find you on a website they don't agree with. In addition, they are releasing an update in October that will make it so users in the United States can only send money to others in the United States, they will also not be able to receive money from those in other countries. I have no doubt this will severely hurt the income of a lot of artists.

If you feel like your account may be banned, I'd recommend trying to remove mentions of it on any account that you think the site will have an issue with, and only give your account name to people via notes. Also please keep your fellow artists safe and don't mention that you're paying for services the site may not agree with on site.

If anyone does lose their account, here are some sites I've heard are good alternatives (That I may honestly move to myself if need be):

• Wave

If you guys know any alternatives please let others know too and spread the word if you can! I would also highly recommend boycotting paypal for the time being if you can, not sure if it will have any big effects, but it's worth a try, right?
