Question About Buzzly by LightLuxCollie

So I recently started to see a lot of people joining something called Buzzly. Wasn't sure what it was. I checked it out and it looks pretty good. I went ahead and made an account, but I haven't posted anything yet.

My question is, does anyone even know anything about this site? Are there any red flags I should know about that I'm not hearing? I mean it looks promising but you never know with these sites. What are your thoughts on it? Let me know.

    well I have heard the staff and people are causing alot of drama on there and banning alot of innocent people without warning, plus there's been quite a few bewares of the site too plus i heard one of the developers is well.. kind of a p*do, and some of the staff are nfts too so do be careful on there if you do plan on using it :<
    sorry if this came out rude in any sort of way, it's the truth but I just thought I'd warn you anyway. no offense tho

      Yeah this was an older journal post from right when it first started getting popular. I had an account but never posted anything on it because something felt off. I watched as it basically became a sinking ship all at once.

        understandable, I just thought I'd spread some awareness incase you didn't know <:3
        I got banned/deleted for mentioning I was on break then realised they closed registrations so i just laughed it off and moved on lol

          Yeah that was a mess from the start. I feel kinda bad for the many people I saw who deleted their other profiles on sites like DA to go full in over on Buzzly.

            people actually do that? jee.. D:

              Yeah, some people don't think things through.

                dang.. <:o I have alot of accounts on lots of places but if i feel the site's not for me or if I'm moving, I just leave the site and become inactive because you never know if you're gonna change your mind about these things, so it's good to keep those accounts around incase you decide on returning y'know?

                I only really deleted my deviantart account years ago because i was experiencing alot of bullying, hacking, and theft on there. i didn't realise it was a drama infested site so it wasn't for me. even after i left, i'm still having to put up with character theft and imposters.. :/ buzzly and deviantart is a load of rubbish, too much bullying and drama and harassment going on. i mean it's totally okay if you like them but i personally don't.. ^-^;;

                  I use almost every platform, even the ones I really hate. Because I'd rather get my stuff out there than worry about what people are going to do on them. Personally I haven't really had a negative experience on DA as far as the community goes, but I have been super annoyed by their decisions as a company. But I will say that I've grown the most in followers on there than any other site.

                    see i like to be around a nice community you see
                    i think weasyl's pretty friendly so it's one of my main sites i post artwork on :3
                    just my own preference ^-^; but you do you, same with myself :3

                      Personally I love Weasyl. I think it is the best art site as far as design, usability and function. It's just upsetting to me that there is not a huge user base on here. I hope someday there is a purge off another platform that brings all of its users here. Weasyl really deserves it.

                        I hope the community continues to stay just as friendly if it does become more popular ^w^ I made alot of friends on here plus I may have a few fans and I really appreciate everyone's support :3
                        It's good to be on a mix of small sites and big sites. On small sites you may have more luck getting noticed and recognised because your posts will stay on the recent upload list for longer. While on big sites, you'll have more audience 'n' such UwU plus people on small sites may recognise you too! :D
