Today's theme is Initial Design. Some OCs get a good face lift over time and develope as the years go on. OCs are allowed to grow with you after all. This is going to be a really big one, and I will obviously be starting with Uluri because they've had the most change of any of my OCs.

Uluri was blue, had long rounded ears that wereen't as fluffy, and the tail tip was chopped off. This was a beta Uluri before they were even finished being made.

Fuck being a normal animal, I say. Monster Uluri got a finalized design, and was based a lot on a monster bat-eared fox. Uluri had also become smol and I desided on Cape fox. Truth be told, I ony ever drew Uluri small to begin with, so I decided that Uluri should be small if that's how I draw anyways. I changed colors shades quite a lot here.

On this day Uluri turned green. A week before I was playing with Ulu's pallet a lot because I wasnt feeling quite right, and just as a silly fun I made Ulu green and really liked it. I was planning from that day to slowly change the color green through artwork over the course of 3 months, but then someone said something, and I spitefully just kept it imediately. Thus resulting in that second link there of me explaining the change in pallet.

I have some other OCs that changed over time, but those were mostly only wardrobe changes. They don't really count as much.

FA is currently under a DDOS attack, so they have ANti-spam defenses up at the moment.
Pfft, I had people get mad at me when I turned Uluri green, and that's why Uluri stayed green right then and there. Your OC is yours, so you cna do what makes you feel most comfortable with it. An OC is made of more than just their looks, after all, too.

I think so, too. Your OCs are your own—if you want them to be pink instead of blue, that’s your choice! :)

Ha-ha-ha..........I had to take a quiz before viewing some of the FA content--is that how they get around non-users now? XD
Keira-Jo has been redesigned since her original days--she was different, with brown-ish hair in the fanclub version I designed her for (to represent me in the club). When the fanclub disbanded and I added her to my fan-fiction, she got the magenta-and-purple hair (and she was a villain). I kept her that way for a long time, but after being at FA for a little while--she seemed very outdated in clothing and design compared to new Sonic fandom materials............oddly, I had people get mad at me when I "modernized" her look, though. @_@
Most of my other OCs (unless they're personal story OCs that go through story changes) are adopts I was given or traded for with others. I've only ever made changes (minor) to one of them, Blake the Skunk--because I simply don't have the shades of blue and green traditionally that the original adopt contained. My Pokemon OCs do go through evolutionary changes, though--as Pokemon do. :)
