As of yesterday, I am off work and tasting sweet, sweet free time.

I spent the last week with a pretty bad cold that's mostly died off now (still some coughs and hacks, but hey). The place I work at closes over the summer, so the last few days were spent working extra, being sick, and saying some very emotional goodbyes to my wonderful coworkers. I won't be returning there in the fall, you see, as Toby and I plan on moving out of the state re currently reside in by the end of summer! We don't know where as of now, before anyone asks. We plan on applying to as many jobs as possible and seeing where it puts us, while maintaining ourselves financially from our continued salary pay checks we'll be receiving through August. It's a bit scary, as we're technically unemployed now, but I really think we can find something good. Honestly, anywhere that just isn't food service anymore would be fantastic; I'm so sick of wearing a hat and non-slip shoes ~_~;

Now I have about three beautiful months ahead of me in which I plan to get as many things done as possible. One of which is to try out art as a full-time job! I want to see what kind of business I can pull in when I'm able to focus myself on my artwork every day. As of now, I don't plan on making art my full-time job for life, but I have entertained the idea of art as a part-time thing to supplement whatever job I do end up with. So, when I'm not looking for a job in translation, I'll be focusing on commissions.

Well, I have a commission to finish up, and about ten emails to answer in the next two days, so I better get to it!
