Seventh New Year's Assessment and Planning by Buck-Aye

Here's the journal from the previous year to compare and contrast accomplishments and shortcomings with: https://www.weasyl.com/journal/122464/sixth-new-year-s-assessement-and-planning

2018 had a bit of a rough start, some of the major cons I went off to attend weren't as fufilling as I wanted them to be, and really until moving back to the States did things pan out properly. This has probably been one of my most active, but expensive years to date, when considering both time and money involved. Wanted to draw more, but I felt a lack of initiative, combined with a semi-hostile environment that ended up discouraging me from wanting to really go forward with it. Things changed up, but it'll have to take another initiative to get back to drawing again (fortunately I've gotten some of my older programs back and will be utilizing them for said purpose.) Also too, ended up deleting my Flickr (because the website began to want payment for posting pictures past a certain limit, rendering it unable to be a proper photo dump) so more than likely I'll be back posting and reorganizing a ton of fursuit photos. If it went unnoticed, I went back and deleted my artwork, not because I'm "ashamed of it" or something on those lines, but rather that I've decided to get the ball rolling again with a seperate account. I will say however, I was able to exceed not only past my con attendance goal, but it's the largest since my involvement with the community (five cons this year.) But like the following year, I'll still be keeping my guard up!

Some of the goals for 2019 are the following:

^Increase my video output for my Youtube channel, including unreleased content.

^Reorganize this account and begin to put efforts into my other channels and accounts.

^As with last goal, push for at a minimum two cons this, maybe if the odds fall in my favor.

^Get back into the swing of drawing with another art account.

Summary:

  • Attended the most amount of furcons this year.
  • A lot of shortcomings and dissapointments, but some accomplishments too.
  • Most expensive year to date in both involving time and money.
  • Going to be reorganizing a lot of stuff.
  • Upload more videos to Youtube.
  • Keeping guard up!

So with that, HAPPY NUDE DEER's 2019 FALLOW DOE'S AND GENTLEBUCKS!!!~~~
