First, Denfur just finished up last weekend, and I’m feeling a lot of gratitude! This was a void which definitely needed to be filled, and it was wonderful seeing friends and art supporters alike. A large number of artist friends were grouped together, plus I met a -ton- of people, (some of whom I have wanted to meet for a long time now). Although I’m of course there for work, the social aspect on its own totally made my weekend! I’ve been feeling down lately, so this was a very good thing which needed to happen, thank you all for cheering me up. <3

Convention scramble isn’t over yet though, Salt Lake City Comic Con is coming up next week. I was hoping to work on commissions this week, but it’s shaping up to be a business/con prep/rest week. I hate to take a rest when things need to be done, but I was feeling sick during Denfur (NOT the flu! I have really bad sinus issues plus eustachian tube ear dysfunction, which does a bunch of shitty things like giving me migraines, hearing issues, and dizziness. Plus I believe I gave myself a bit of food poisoning… whoops! Totally knew that was coming, but I didn’t listen to my instinct, so my bad, lol. And to top things off, I somehow strained my thumb on my drawing hand, so I’ve been careful about how much I use it.) Since I’m going to be traveling all of next week, recovering is a must! I will for sure be giving all commissioners an update before I leave, so that everyone has a timeframe of the next update. During the time I am gone, the Etsy shop will be offline, and then put back up right when I get back home.

I’m looking forward to Salt Lake! Meeting some new people will be great, plus being with family (and friends, but the friends I’m meeting are practically family, so family, haha!) I’ll try to record some of the adventures for all of you too, since this will be a longer trip. Follow my adventures on my social media:
