Life Update. Not so smooth for August by sirkain
Meh,
as title says and with a little EverDew in me, finally doing a life update,
In short, not good right now financially. out of funds to cover the bare minimums. But I refuse to ask for handouts. That was part of my pact/terms with rassah when i joined this adventure in real estate in entrepreneurship. I have ran my credit debts past 40k$-70k$ US multiple times, about time I learn why this is bad and fix it on my own or with a lot of advice from some.
On the other side, things for the business are doing GREAT! We have 7-9 properties in our name, sold one end of June, and two more SHOULD sell end of September if all goes to plan. I am learning the hard way how to handle a budget in general from weekly to 6-7 months between paychecks. hard hit, but I will adapt long as right advice given on how to handle my own messes and screw ups I have done. tomorrow I am to call all my banks who own the credit cards to tell them I don't see how I can pay off their debts with the amounts i get and clear them and ask for help. see what they give me. vs running away saying nothing. Will see how well that works.
Does this suck? yes, yes it does. Will I go back to my old job? no. Will I be this way forever? heck no! Just how first 2 years go with starting a business and learning the ropes. The train is rolling. slowly but rolling. I just need money faster than it can dish out just yet but it will come. Just need practical plans on how to attack my debts and get rid of it leeching my funds away in a flash.
Hope you all are well. Wanted to still keep my transparency on how this new life is going. I never said it wold be easy, but the path is relatively simple to follow. I rather stay in this hell than go back to my job I had for 14 years or another job period. That's Sober sane me talking here.
I WILL make this work. It IS working. Just not as fast as one would like off the bat. Patience. Patience...

Also, my bit of advice, as this is what I do myself: Budget HARD. I started making a list of income vs expenses, and while I do get paid every week in the same amount, so mine i'm sure would be a lot easier, the principle is the same: Put all fixed monthly bills (such as car payment) and list them out each month. Then put all variable but monthly bills (such as utilities) and budget an amount that's a bit above your average usage, just to be safe. Then take all that remains, and divvy it out to things like $___ for groceries for the week/month, $___ for gas, etc. One other thing I do, is if I have ANY spare money after all that, I budget an amount to go into savings, which I can use for gas if I end up broke and on E but still need to get to work for the week.
