Summer/Fall Planned Cons by WinterSoul
Just want to send some dates out for confirmed conventions and events this year! This year is going to be an odd line-up. On top of that, they’re all new shows (for me), not going to lie, I’m super stressed about that! But I’m hoping to see a lot of you there, I’ve been missing people since last year one of the regular cons was cancelled. Plus, I’m happy to have another traveling con back on the list since I have a handful of close friends and family in Salt Lake, so these will all be good regardless of what happens business-wise! Right?! I'm a part of a local group of artists who put together multiple shows at various markets throughout the year. Thus far there haven't been shows which strike me as fitting for my work. When I saw this one, it hit me that a lot of my horse loving friends also really love collecting resin horses and art of their favorites. Plus, it was through Breyers that my interest in making resins was really sparked as a kid, so although this is an odd new one for me, I'm excited to connect with people on the shared interest of horses! :D Yes, and so true! It'll be good to visit this bunch, it's not too often that we get to meet up <3

Oh, for sure! Especially since this has a larger event around it, I think it’s going to be a fun adventure :) Yep, Breyer makes all sorts of collectable horses, like this one: https://www.breyerhorses.com/files/imagesBreyer/product/620/1792.enlarge.1.jpg
There are a bunch of model horse shows centered around these. A friend helped me to enter a couple of my hippocamp models a while back, so hopefully I’ll run into more people who would be interested in that here :D

wow a horse show? how did you get involved in selling art there? or are you showing an actual hornse?
and having friends in a convention town is always nice. reliable meal company and good social interaction!
