Yeah its a very nostalgic title. When looking around for pixel art using Google's Image search, you cannot really escape the feeling at 37 that all the technology and all the themes seemed to have mostly faded away. Pixel Art + Social etc., even 8bitpainter puts the word "share" before "save". My main tablet for pixel work is in airplane mode "forever" and to be honest it feels much like a computer I'd fool around on over 20 years ago at lunch break in highschool in the older section of the library... that had the dot matrix printers, the other section was Online. Cellphones essentially didn't exist at that highschool, I cannot recall anyone using one even with the wealthier classmates.
I love old computers, I have a Commodore SX-64 and love it! I try to mostly keep a computer until it stops working before upgrading it.
Nice machine, with its own screen. I wish I knew about things like that all those years ago when questioning this new digital landscape. But in '97-'98 5.25's were thinning out. I just have 3 new floppies from 2001 for now... saved in case I ever needed them for an old PC either found or given to me. I was looking into the Commodore glyph/pixel art that night to see what I could find.

I hold on to my old technologies, too. Even though there are many ways to get classic games.............I still have an old t.v. with an antenna box connection for the old systems like the Atari 2600 and Sega Genesis--which I sometimes get out and play. My computer now...........only Windows 7, but is so old it no longer receives updates from Microsoft. I even hold onto my phones for a long time, when most people replace them after a year............I'm like 3-5 years, basically whenever my phone dies a permanent death.
