Clarification on new Patreon policy by Mircea

This is a followup to my previous journal on the matter, which can be found here:

https://www.weasyl.com/journal/121034/new-patreon-policy-that-may-harm-many-artists

I'm mostly posting about this to help inform other artists who have similar concerns about the new Patreon policy. I emailed the Patreon staff shortly after posting that journal, and today they replied to me and offered some insight. The two points I asked them about were the following:

Q1: Is NSFW furry art considered bestiality, be it anthro or feral?
A1: Definitely not. At least not when it comes to anthro characters, although I understand intelligent ferals (such as Pokemon) should also be okay. Therefore furry art is in no danger.

Q2: Are the darker sorts of fetishes allowed in art? This question was primarily aimed at vore, though of course I didn't mention vore directly.
A2: The official stance seems to be that there is no definite answer; It all depends on circumstance. I understand this may only be an issue if it "sexualizes minors" or "glorifies non-consensual sex"... I for one don't think unwilling vore could ever count as such a thing, as even if it's a fetish from some perspectives vore is not actually sex.

So that's one worry off my chest. The staff also made it clear they only review explicit depictions and not hinted stuff, and even when doing so they account for circumstance carefully and won't take any rash decisions. While the rule that I don't trust the judgment of people I don't know still applies, the Patreon staff has been setting a remarkable example for how the owners of a website should be acting, so for now they've managed to earn even my trust as far as being reasonable people goes.
