Yeah! :D I know a couple artists who've made colouring pages available online. I've been thinking of doing something similar but also i want to get some artists together to create an actual book. The issue though is finding a place that will print books that have paper that can be coloured on. Most are glossy and its not really good for colouring. THOUGH, it is possible i could make a limited print run on my own just as staple back books. Itll depend on how much interest i get with other artists.

That would definitely be awesome! :D I wonder if you could even offer them as digital downloads if you can't seem to find a way to get it in print. Like Sega (Japan's) Sonic site offers coloring pages every month that you can print out for your kids (or you) to color. I don't know how popular downloading coloring sheets are, over a book........but it could be a last resort option.
I just digitally colored a friend's lineart (mainly to practice coloring digitally), she said she wasn't going to color it and I knew she'd been under the weather. So it was fun practice for me and it was also something that cheered her up. It's kinda fun to color something that's NOT your own art for a change. :)

I think coloring pages are a really excellent idea. (I voted.) I don't know how your followers feel about it but.................."adult coloring pages" are really popular now. Granted many of these books are abstract and "zentangle" type images, but it's a huge thing now. (I'd rather color a character or something, really..............) The Library I work at has had several activity nights for "adult coloring book" stuff and there's been a pretty decent turnout every time. :)
I was just going through a box at home recently and found all my old childhood coloring books. Stuff like "Transformers", classic "My Little Pony" and "She-Ra" (I did grow up in the 80's! lol) and just scanned a few dozen images, to fix up (as the newsprint in the books is now a light brown from age) and printed them off for a co-workers kids. Her son is a huge Transformers fan and her daughter is a huge My Little Pony fan............and to be honest, though these are both around today, there are not a lot of really good coloring books for them--many are repeated standard stock images through the books. These old coloring books not only had original drawings, but a WRITER because the whole book told a story......................the only coloring books like that nowadays are the Disney movie ones! XD
