Anthro New England was cool! by Malachyte

What a busy as heck month this has been. Earlier on, I attended AGDQ as I mentioned, and had a fantastic time. You can find the VOD thread here or look up their Youtube channel for a playlist. The crowd looks so small in the video, yet there were a TON of people there. Everyone was mostly hanging out in the arcade room, board games area, practice room, etc. Even when they watched the streams in the main room, they all wanted to sit on the side where it wasn't being recorded, ha. I can't blame them though.

I also went to ANE just a week after that. It was a bit much going from a week long, 24 hour event to a furry convention where I would be dealing each day, but I survived somehow. ANE was very pleasant, and I enjoyed it's small size. It has some things that need improving still, like making the artist alley more accessible and maybe turning the heat down for all the poor suiters, but overall I loved the event, and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. I look forward to attending (and dealing) next year as well.

With all the big events that just happened for me, I feel like I'm only just now starting 2017, and I just had my big 2016 finale. I'm catching up on posting art, and I'm going to start streaming regularly again. I'll actually be streaming in just a bit today, to offer two digital rough sketch YCH's to be claimed in stream. Later in the day I'm going to do my Friday game night stream for the first time in a while, too. I'll probably be playing Chrono Trigger, since I've very close to the end of that.

Hope you've all been well, and see you in the stream soon~

ANE seems like a great con! I've been following them on Twitter and it seems like they're run by good people who strive to create a fun and positive environment. I'm gonna try to go in 2018!
