Hey guys,
I hope everyone had a safe and Happy Holiday. I did my best to enjoy myself with mine, though this year was a sad one for me. Madam took a turn for the worst in the few days before Christmas, and on Friday the 23rd, I took her into the vet and held her as they eased her into her final sleep. It was very peaceful and gentle and I can't thank them enough for being so good with her and me. I'm working through my grief and healing with the loss of my furbaby as best I can right now. I know she wouldn't want me to be sad forever but I can't help but look for her in all her favorite sleeping spots even though I know she won't be there.
We're doing okay here, and taking the time and need we care as we miss our baby. I want to thank everyone for their patience with me and all the sweet words and encouragement the community gave me though this hard time. You all helped me feel strong enough to be there for her and to do what she needed me to do before she really suffered. I'll never forget my Madam, she was a one of a kind cat.
