The "YouTube is demonetizing videos" rant by Marwan

Yesterday, I posted this animated vlog #3 on YouTube, but forgot to blog about it. x_o *Knocks himself in the head*

Just to clarify, YouTube has since made it clear that they've been demonetizing videos for being "ad-unfriendly" since like a long while now, and it's only as recently as 1-2 weeks ago that they've updated their notification system that let everyone know about it. Hence the demonetization panic... and I'm actually siding with the creators on this, because it's still screwing those who made YouTube their entire career.

Again, if you have hearing impairment, or my Malay accent is somehow barely intelligible for you, that's what the CC button is for.

    Thank the saints for Patreon then, least you've somewhere to get income from... =w=;;

      Yeah. =/ To some content creators, that's how they get the majority of their income, sometimes more than through YouTube ad revenues alone, or even because they can't even put ads due to their channels not being in good standing. Jim Sterling himself even made his move to make his videos ad-free (and even brags about it); his sole income came from Patreon.
