I am the absolute worst journal-keeper in the world, but ah well. I really only post when I have something important to say, I guess!

Anyway, had a really long talk with my husband, and right now we're in a place where I could actually sit down and focus on artwork full time. I've never had that chance and I'm very lucky that I have that opportunity now. So I'm changing a lot of things around. I'd been working full time and on night shifts for years, so I wasn't able to sit there and even think of using art as my income. I didn't have the time or the schedule to actually network with people the way I wanted to. Things like that.

So now I am taking that chance. I've been doing a lot of research, got some prints on order, been looking into going to some local conventions and all that good stuff. I'm excited and anxious and all that!
