Danny's parents had always fought a lot when he was a child, so it was difficult for him to tolerate their arguments. As soon as they filed and finalized a divorce, Danny grew a grudge towards both of his parents, and ran off to live with his aunt, who he trusted deeply, and felt close to. His aunt cared for him and supported him until he graduated high school at the age of 16 (he had a GEP), and she helped him find a college. After he graduated college, he was hired as an assistant at a daycare for young children.
Danny is very kind and helpful towards others, and can be very conservative, but sometimes impulsively spends money on some things, though Asami is there to help keep him from spending too much.
Since he is a Fraux, (which is a race of humans with a few animal traits) and a fox one at that, he has excellent hearing and a higher sense of smell than a normal human.
