Owen is an oddball teenager who enjoys escaping to nature when life gets ahead of him. He's an extremely accepting person, as he should be with his own odd traits, although he never learned to stand up for his beliefs, always finding it easier to just walk away from threats. Because of this, Owen isn't much of a people person and prefers the company of other creatures to that of humans. He spends a lot of his free time thinking in silence and scribbling his thoughts into quick cartoons, but to have a friend compatible with his quirks would mean the world to him. Gaining the friendship of Trekamon seemed to fill this hole in his life, and her unbiased, half relaxed and half go-get-em personality has since given Owen a chance to overcome his struggles through someone much like himself.

Trekamon's digivolutions emphasize variations of her claws and her scarf, which grows further around her body with each level evolved. As Kidamon, her in-training form, she move more quickly than one would think, enabling her simple Speed Claw melee attack. As Trekamon, she can slice her arms through the air, launching a burst of energy from her claws which tears at the air in front of her, an attack called Severed Nature that can pass through solid surfaces. Once evolved to her champion form, Klokangamon, two pairs of claws which can retract into her hands and stretch up to an extreme distance allows for a powerful ranged strike known as Vine Claws. Klokangamon can also flip and whip her tail forward, sending forward a blade-like energy attack called Whip Lash. Upon reaching her ultimate form, Scarkomimon, her scarf has enveloped the majority of her body and even replaced her claw attacks with Sash of Blades, ejecting six regrowing blades from either end of the scarf as they are swung forward. Scarkomimon's tail has also become more powerful, now able to stretch outward as her previous set of claws had to attack with Reaching Triblade. Through all of Trekamon's digivolutions, she can maneuver with great ease and speed through rough, busy, and tangled environments, especially in her later levels which include claws that can reach outward and retract quickly to pull herself to grabbed surfaces. Owen also takes an exceptional liking to Scarkomimon's almost Native American headdress and pins of feathers, being of half Native American decent himself.
