My studies of this week are a bit more varied but also contain way less animals. I tried to change my technique in fundamental ways. It's not going well so far, but surprisingly people consistently guess wrong what I changed.

The shadows are something I noticed too. I currently test some different brushes with sharper edges to see if they might help me with blending them better. And I like the idea with animals being included in the scene. That's something where I want to move my art towards in general. Just gotta think about if I want to search for more references with them or if I just want to add them myself. Let's see what I can do. :D

They all look good. Refining smaller details and blending shadows should help. Make 20 of them and you'll have a nice looking portfolio. Adding more scenes with people and animals running, walking, and interacting with objects should help diversify it tremendously.
