Anthrocon 2013 Stock – Laced Book Covers

Handcrafted leather book covers will be available at our Dealer’s Den table! These models will be available, and we will be accepting take-home custom commissions, too. We will also have examples of other customized book covers for folks to take a look at.

These book covers are two pieces with lacing up the spine and have a tongue and snap closure. The interior flaps are thin, black lining leather, and are laced in place. They are finished with Antique dye and softened with conditioning wax. With a proper fit, they will form to the shape of your book over time and become nice and supple while protecting the book’s cover.

Our items are all carved, dyed and painted, finished and assembled by hand. They are treated with an acrylic sealant and water-resistant wax finish to add durability.
