After I played through four out of five Shantae games in a row (I'll finish the fifth one soon :D ), the cute, funny and sexy charm of the series really captured me. So much so that I just had to make a little picture about the old, pixelated Shantae, because I just loved her little waistcoat (I guess that's what it's called…?) and her overall design.
So when I was making my own version of her pixelated look, and at one point I thought the shadows would actually make some neat accessories to her original clothes, so I added some to my design :) And I know black kinda takes a bit away from her very cheerful look, but I think it makes her look a bit more elegant :) Oh, and I gave her a cute „piggy nose”, because you can't see her nose on the pixelated character, and I thought it would make her look cute anyway :D
