2016,,,, what a year,,, amirite?
But anyways! Let's not get into the god awful politics and just everything that went down this year which I just want to HURRY AND FINISH FOR O N C E--

This year, I said I still wanted to work on my anatomy, to start defining my own style, to start painting digitally, and use more dynamic poses...........
LMAO well like, anatomy, sure, style? LMAO THE EXACT OPPOSITE! But I think that's a good thing, I I want to learn more about anatomy, obviously and how to draw more realistically before I start trying my own style, because I want to have a better and more thorough understanding of the muscles and how all of that works; will I upload these drawings? Probably not all of them unless I do really good or smth :P

What I AM proud of getting done though, is that I messed around alot more with lighting and color (color especially towards the end) and improving on my anatomy, especially in the facial area (eyes and eyebrows are something Ive always struggled with) and I hope to definitely improve more there. However, 2016 wasnt a very productive year art-wise for me, I dont know but Ive just sort of felt like Ive been in this everlasting funk, and its really disappointing looking back at that. I hope to have more inspiration and motivation in 2017.

Along with motivation, my goals are to learn more facial anatomy and to be able to draw some decently realistic stuff before I dive into implementing those features into my own style. Also, yet again, I wanna work on painting digitally, i just need to find a place to start. I suppose another goal is to be more active with fanart (i.e. i wanna draw McHanzo and lots of it) and to figure out what Im doing with 7 Seas' story.

Here's to a good 2017! And 2016 set the bar so low I can only pray!
