This was my first fursona. I believe I created her 12 years ago. I decided to redesign her for fun. I stopped drawing her back in like 2010. She's never been a character that has made much sense design-wise, I created her back when sonic fans gathered on netraptor.org. She was an awful mixture of a hedgehog/coyote/Thylacine and her name was my first username on the internet "Coyote-pilot". I just call her CP now because the name makes no sense???
For the redesign I cut her down to just a Thylacine because that was my favorite animal when I was a kid. Her clothes are kind of diesel punk-ish/40's inspired so that she at least looks like she works with planes. I didn't want her to be too girly either because when I was a kid I didn't like girly things. I kept her an orange color because that was my favorite color.
Anyways here's the beginning of CP-2009-2010. FEELS BAD MAN.

Hahaha! Quite true. It's amazing how much my style has changed since I was a teen. Really glad you enjoy the new look! Hah I love it much more myself as well.

Such an interesting bit of retrospective regarding the development of this character. Just goes to show you should never judge how an artist initially grows and how their style emerges. I personally love how she looks now, especially with the obvious gearhead dieselpunk aesthetic thrown in (but I'm horribly biased towards those kinds of themes anyway).
