Light of the Past

Um I don't even *shrug*

This started out as a scribble when I felt terribly guilty about my comic-characters because I hardly ever draw them, especially Diego, but in the end it turned out so well that I decided to fully color it. I also had to really get away from commissions and university work for a while. :/

And yes, I feel guilty about fictional characters I created, get over it! >:I

Diego didn't used to have a scar on his right eye, but all of the characters from Silent Hunters have been untergoing a heavy redesigning process as I apparently didn't really think much of their design through when I created them back in... 2006 or so.

Diego now has a scor over his eye and can't move it anymore. Meaning whenever he's looking at something the other eye is basically just derping around, durr.

This scene is supposed to be set right after they escaped the human-bloodshed that was going on in Talik. The pose isn't suppsosed to mean anything, as it was just supposed to be a scribble. Let's just say they can't really believe what has happened there yet.

I've also been playing around with cell-shading and lighting here. I usually don't do cell-shading as it's normally to much work and looking crap in the end anyway. This one was rather rewarding I gotta admit. *wags*

Oh yeah, and that's supposed to be a sunrise in the background. I tried.

However, hope you like.

Art and Silent Hunters are (c) to me
