This is a birthday gift for my beloved boyfriend Mytigertail.

I know how he loves Portal and I wanted to make something special to him, I really wanted to make this artwork perfect to show him how much I care and how special this date is, he is turning 20 years old!

I wrote a small story thing along with the artwork, if you finished Portal 2 once, it might make more sense when reading it, the whole piece is like a continuation of the finale, but with Gabe instead of Chell.

And I must tell you, the title "Survivor" is no coincidence. I hope you enjoy!

He finally escaped from the facility that kept him away from all he could experience in the outside, he knew he was scared, but he knew that it was all he wanted. Even though he had found a certain "kindness" in GLaDOS and got used to her after all those chambers, what he was seeking the whole time, after each test, was his own freedom.

It wasn't a short journey I can assure you, he even had the balls to bring with him the most valuable companion he had down there, the companion cube. "It feels different from the other cubes" he would always think of that when looking at it. It was different just like the turret that GLaDOS allowed him to keep, the turret was saved from it's certain end, by the hands of this tiger.

Maybe it spoke to his heart when it said "I'm different" while he was in his journey to unravel what became all of this. Alone in the middle of nowhere, where he was dumped.

"How will I survive here?" He asked himself a few times before finding a place to rest, but it didn't matter at all. The portal gun was gone for good and he was ok with that. "It was time for a change." He said while looking at his turret fella.

"We have a whole new journey ahead the three of us." He said. And he could swear he saw the heart figure on his companion cube glow more intense at that time.
