Edit: I drew this the day after I had to put my dog, Xanthus to sleep. He was 14 years old but he will be in my heart forever. I cried a lot while drawing this :U

The nature of life. We are finite structures.
I used to have dreams that felt like this. I would find myself alone in a house, and everything would be shrouded in a thick, murky darkness, so I'd turn on a light. The bulb would glow dimly and cast no illumination on its surroundings.
