So, I tried to go to the Smashfest at my local Best Buy. Sadly, the guy at the entrance wouldn't let me in with my head on, so I couldn't play in suit. The Nintendo rep liked my suit a lot, though. She said if I go back to the Saturday event, she'll clear things up with the staff and I can go inside in suit. Fingers crossed.
