A long time ago, I stumbled across this character (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3849676/) and just fell in love with her, she seemed like such a nice caring being. so sometime mid-last year I commissioned the owner of the character for a cute piece of her and Zal, and around September the artist's life got a quite hectic, and she vanished, well, she showed up the other day and let a lot of people know she was alright, but that she was canceling all current commissions, so the only thing on this pic that didn't happen was shading, I asked her if she wanted me to still pay her for it anyway, she said no, I asked if I could keep and post it anyway, since it was such a cute pic it would have been a shame not to let the world see it. complete or not. She kindly allowed me to do this. :D

So... here we have Zal as the dragon/fox/alien Starling, with her new little cuddle toy Zal, the owner/artist told me that she kinda had that dragon hoarding and den trait, so she decided to make them in a big almost nest of pillows, and obviously she can give some pretty unique cuddles, since she has those prehensile tendrils (which are actually parts of her wings http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5733157/)
