Not really. I'm alone all the time and I'm rarely bored. It depends on what you have around you.
Of course, if I'm not doing anything I get VERY easily bored, so I'll practice drawing, writing, I'll play a few games, work ahead on my schoolwork, do a random chore just 'cause...
There's lots of ways to relieve boredom when you're alone.

Of course, a party animal (pardon the pun) like Jade would naturally enjoy being in a group more... more than introverted and awkward me at any rate.
