In the lower floors of the city you rarely see daylight. The menacing buildings growing too tall and their walkways stretch out to choke the light. Its illegal to live down there for health and safety reasons, but like most laws people tend to ignore that. Its cheap, and no person ever bother you. But its safe. Safe from the torrential downpour, safe from the dense people, and safe from what you are running from.
But not from Priscia. She can hear you, she can see you. So long as you live in the city, she can find you. The walls push you towards her. The old signs light you up. The broken pipes scream where you are. You can run away, but she will walk towards you unending. Her green mask piercing the gloom you try to shrivel up in. She likes the hunt. She enjoys the fear.
