Serpent's Touch

JuJu leaned back and sighed, sitting cross legged on the floor and rubbing her eyes. Once again she was up all night deciphering the contents of a new book given to her by Saint, who had found it while on a run. Unable to decipher what it meant, he gave it to JuJu in the hopes that she could.
'Easier said than done', she thought with a grimace. She sat the book down and glanced at a few bottles sitting next to her, a small wisp of smoke furling out of the mouth. The page the book was set on had all indications of it being a healing spell, but the book itself was written in a strange language that she couldn't recognize. Determined, she refused to give up.
JuJu picked up the book again, muttering the words.
"Lu vokren ahrk rezmor ag, Krasaar oblaan pruzah haas daal," she whispered. As she said this, the smoke gave off a spark of brilliant green. Startled, she stared at it for a few seconds as her sleep deprived brain formulated an idea. Trembling, she held her hand over the mouth of the bottle, and uttered the phrase again.
"Lu vokren ahrk rezmor ag, Krasaar oblaan pruzah haas daal!"
The smoke billowed out of the mouth, curling around her hand and forearm. In the process, a small cut she had received preparing food earlier mended instantaneously. She grinned widely; she had done it. The healing spell had worked! The smoke remained curled around her hand, and if she guessed right, any injury or sickness she touched would be healed. Smiling at the now serpentine shape of the smoke, she whispered the counter chant.
"Bo zek wah hin hofkiin, nox hi fah hin ahmik."
The smoke around her hand disappeared back into the bottle. She placed a stopper on it, still smiling, and brought herself up to go to bed.
