Doing those speedpaints has been really nice, gets me to draw a lot without having to worry much about it! It is however a lot of work though... like sitting in extreme concentration mode drawing for 1hr nonstop does take a toll on the wrist and mind. Basically it tires me faster.
I originally intended this to be a fullbody but the original blob(which is the closest to a sketch in this kinda process) I made would fit just a torso better,so I just went for it. Its also nice to work with the first idea that pops on your head instead of iterating on whats the best option. Maybe the best option is the one that gets done and finished!

thanks!! theres some things i do to save time, such as not doing sketch/lineart and just rolling with whats on the canvas instead of trying to perfect it to something better or more like my first idea.
I also keep a bunch of references nearby so i dont have to think much about pose ideas/anatomy and can colourpick when needed.
jumping straight to colours is also easier, helps visualise the artwork better and saves time.

your use of color is amazing! I can't wrap my head around how you do this in an hour.
