...Who was once in medieval times, a blade-swinging, fire-breathing, village-pillage/destroying, knight-slaying terror.

This is her way back when when she led a small group of strong warriors like herself across the eastern hemisphere taken and smashing all that they please. Think of pirates on land and that would be them. That was until her soon to be husband tamed her dangerous ways.
