This is another wallpaper for my partner.
It... took longer than I had expected. Because of being distracted and busy, and because.. It did take longer than expected- the whole thing.
My partner is a fox and relates to fire, hence that. (and he has glasses!~) I am a dragon. I am not a dragon who uses fire- he's my fire. But I do have... either darkness or electricity. I think both, actually. Which is why I drew both. The void-darkness and electricity pulsing through it.
And with that, they're wrapping in circles around each other, like a dance.
I wanted something in the center, but I wasn't totally sure what I wanted. So I decided a simple heart, because the picture already looked chaotic- something with a lesser implications of such I think would help off-set it.
The heart was going to be the darkness and fire mixing- but as of right now I'm not sure how to pull that off totally, and it would have just blurred and have been hard to see in the background. Soo, I thought, "Why not opposites?" With that, I made red mist/darkness to match in a sense, my darkness/mist, since his color is red. But instead of electricity, I added some stars. And then to continue, I made it emit blue fire, like his fire, but in my colors.
The backgrounds don't totally mesh, buuut it's supposed to be that way. In the moments when they do, it's amazing. It may not look like it works, but it's a beauty to behold. There's a conflict and there's a greater love from-or because of it.

I made a second picture of this... Only because I was having somewhat of a hard decision figuring out the final idea for Xathoa's full dragon form. My partner helped me figure it out. So, she had black stripes normally, but on using her abilities, they'll glow and pulse light blue, like the electricity she has.

Xathoa (as dragon form and otherwise) belongs to me. Danzavare (as fox form and otherwise) belongs to my partner.

edit: Hit F5 to reload. I fixed the lightning around Xathoa's horns. They were laying over her, which they weren't supposed to do.
