we have too many bellas around here i swear.
this is miss Bella, she's a Bichon and this was her first groom since last July. She was a pelted matted mess. It was heart wrenching because she was such a happy girl before i shaved her down and with the coat she had it tugged and pulled on her skin every time she moved. She was clean too, which means she likely had a bath before coming out to see us at least once and probably left to air dry so her matting tightened up. Luckily i was able to get a 7f through most of it, only resorting to a 10 for the bottom parts of her legs.
Her coat came off in one piece, but i cut it in half to make it more comfortable for her. I left her ears longer than her body by a small amount because they weren't matted and the tip of her tail wasn't either so i left a little lion tail, to give her some personality and keep her from having a rat tail.
she was so great and wonderful for everything i wish her parents would bring her in more often.
She'd really look like a cotton ball if she'd been clean and mat free hahaha bichons have that cottony coat, much like a poodles coat.
She was even more all over the place when I was done, she was certainly happy to be free.
Her owners clearly don't brush her nearly enough if at all, I wish people like that would just have a dog that didn't require brushing to stay free of matts. There'd be a lot more happy comfortable dogs out there.
Oh what kind of dog do you have? :)

SHE'S LIKE A COTTON BALL IN HER ORIGINAL PHOTOS.
Omg, I bet she feel so much better now.
My dog is a bit late due for his grooming but I brush him regularly he will need to go in for a cut here soon tho before it gets too warm and he blows his coat all over the house.
