Happy New Year! As I mentioned in the render progression pic, I was recently inspired to draw Kirone, a character I haven't drawn or even referenced in a decade and a half... She is sorta based in the Avania setting, but well predates the comic itself, so does not have a place in the setting as it is now... Perhaps she will feature in [yet another] of my Avania AUs? We’ll see!

In any case, I kinda went nuts experimenting with color combinations for her outfit and various background ideas for these wallpapers, because unlike most of my characters' military clothing, Kirone's gymnastic attire lends itself well to wild recolors... Even if I only limit myself to posting a few of them, I feel like it was worthwhile practice to develop my rendering technique with colored lighting and what looks good on light/dark backgrounds.
