Whew, must have had a good quarter... Those sales figures probably aren't the only thing charting robust YoY growth!

After bringing Maru and Kur back together in the first pic, I couldn't resist drawing another, spicier one...
As often is the case with my side-art, I tried a new approach to rendering, inspired by TintedGreen's depiction of horse-actual Maru, adding dapples and more color variation in places.
I think the effect adds a lot to my otherwise kind of simple coloring and I'm looking forward to using the technique on other characters! All in all, this is one of my favorite pieces I've ever done.
